Located in Zomba, Mulunguzi, 15th Avenue Road, the MhEST resource centre is open weekly from Monday to Saturday. Street-connected, and other vulnerable children from the ages of 7 to 24 are able to come and utilise our resource centre. The resource centre accommodates street-connected children, vulnerable girls who are at risk of living a street-connected life, and the youth. On average, 60 children utilise our resource centre on a daily basis. The resource centre is facilitated by a qualified Psychosocial Nurse, a trained Primary School Teacher, and a Community Development Facilitator.

The MhEST Resource  Centre provides:

–        Warm shower and clean clothes (including soap and body lotion)

–        2 meals a day (Breakfast and Lunch)

–        Education: After-school lessons

–        Psycho-social counselling

–        Wellness programs such as health and hygiene, drugs and substance abuse, Health assessment and referral

–        Recreation activities
